5.56 Field Connecticut Shade is not your typical soft Connecticut. A Honduran Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Habano binder with filler from Ometepe, Colombia, and Condega. It opens with a little spice, then settles into cream, leather, white pepper, and cedar with a smooth finish. Mild to medium and easy to enjoy, but with enough bite to remind you it is Warfighter.

Tasting notes
This is not your typical soft, sleepy Connecticut. The Honduran Connecticut Shade wrapper opens with a little spice, then settles into sweet cream, cedar, and light cocoa, with a touch of white pepper keeping it lively. Reviewers pick up baking spice and intermittent cedar sweetness through the middle before it finishes on dry hay and a char-like sweetness. Mild to medium and easy to enjoy, but with enough bite to remind you it is a Warfighter, not a golf-course cigar.
