Tasting notes
Micallef Black is the fuller, darker blend the brand built over roughly three years, and the Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper delivers on it. Expect cocoa, coffee, and charred earth up front, with black and white pepper, nuttiness, and a leathery, almost meaty depth as it develops. Retrohales bring cinnamon and a sweet honeydew note riding over the pepper. This is a sit down and pay attention cigar, rich but never harsh.
