The Franklin Connecticut is the smooth lane of the Founders lineup, named for Benjamin Franklin, but it is not a bland starter stick. An Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over Dominican Olor and Piloto Cubano filler brings cream, cedar, vanilla, light pepper, and a little earthy sweetness from the Broadleaf. It smokes clean and easy without feeling watered down. A good morning coffee cigar that still has enough going on to hold a seasoned smoker.
