Founders Cigar Company
Douglass Habano
The boldest stick in the Founders core lineup, Habano over Habano for pepper and cedar with a Pennsylvania broadleaf backbone.
$9.00
Founders built the Douglass Habano as the sharpest, most outspoken stick in the lineup, a nod to Frederick Douglass. Habano over Habano gives it that classic pepper and cedar bite up front, with leather, earth, and a touch of natural sweetness underneath. The Pennsylvanian Broadleaf in the filler adds darker weight, so it has backbone without turning into a heavy Maduro. Bold, but not reckless.

Tasting notes
The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and matching Habano binder open with black pepper and cedar, then settle into leather, earth, and a thread of natural sweetness. The Pennsylvania broadleaf viso in the filler adds a darker, weightier core, so the cigar carries backbone without crossing into heavy maduro territory. Expect a peppery, cedar forward smoke that stays bold but controlled from light to nub. It is the most outspoken blend in the core lineup.
