Hermanos de Armas
Cataclysm
The bold one. If you want a full bodied cigar with real backbone, dark spice, and a sweet and bitter payoff, start here.
$13.05
Cataclysm is the bold end of the Hermanos de Armas lineup, built for smokers who want body, grit, and a little controlled chaos. An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers a Nicaraguan core drawn from Ometepe and Condega, giving cedar, earth, black pepper, toasted tobacco, leather, and roasted coffee with a dark spice that builds as it burns. This is a sit down smoke best paired with coffee or bourbon, not a quick patio stick. Offered in a 6 x 54 toro and a 5 x 48 robusto.

Tasting notes
Cataclysm opens earthy and woody with a dry smoke and a mild edge of black pepper, then fills out as brown sugar and molasses sweetness balance a base of cedar, leather, and toasted tobacco. Independent reviewers have pulled boiled peanut, black walnut, hot chocolate, and even a graham and marshmallow s'mores note out of it, with bitter black coffee arriving late. It is the boldest of the three core blends and burns to a firm stack of dimes ash. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Ometepe and Condega Nicaraguan filler carries the whole thing.
